Today we must fight: STOP SOPA AND PIPA!

SOPA and PIPA is a trending subject in the internet  this past days. Even though this two bills was proposed in the congress of USA a lot more earlier, this subjects caught the netizen's interest only this past few days. Just this January 18-19 2011 Wikipedia had a movement called the blackout , a movement against this bills. This movement caused for netizen's to give importance to these matters.

But what really is SOPA and PIPA?

OPINION:

In my personal point of view basing from what i read on a lot of articles, videos etc these bills will really greatly harm the Internet. Firstly because this will hinder the "freeness" of the internet. SOPA and PIPA would put the burden on website owners to police user-contributed material and call for the unnecessary blocking of entire sites. Small sites won't have sufficient resources to defend themselves. Big media companies may seek to cut off funding sources for their foreign competitors, even if copyright isn't being infringed. Some foreign sites would be prevented from showing up in major search engines. And, SOPA and PIPA build a framework for future restrictions and suppression. Sites no matter what they are will be shutdown if found with even one content which violates copyright. The other useful information even though without any violation will be included because of just one content. You could watch the video or read articled which is posted above for other harmful effects of these two bills.

THIS IS MY WAY OF OPPOSING SOPA AND PIPA.

 WE MUST UNITE TO PROTECT THE  WELFARE OF THE INTERNET!
